Reopening and beyond!

While our guest blogger last week took us down memory lane, our attention is now squarely focused on our grand reopening on 23 September – and beyond!

This new chapter for the Adam Smith still has performing at the heart of the venue and our loyal audiences will be delighted to see the new season programme is returning with drama and music – check it out here.

Not only will we be welcoming back the likes of KAOS and Fife Opera in the first couple of months, the reopening of the building will be firmly led by local talent too.  Roll on 23 September.

Programme Manager Karen Taylor is delighted at how the first season back is shaping up:

“We are excited to be bringing a range of work to the stage with performances of Moorcroft from National Theatre Scotland; Tally’s Blood, which is marking 20 years since it last toured; laughs from comedian Craig Hill; dance with Emerald Storm; powerful visual theatre from Solar Bear and much, much more.

“We are here for you. Our ‘relevance’ work that’s been going on this year is reaching out to new audiences to make sure that the Adam Smith is connecting with more people – it’s always been here for the community so it’s only right that we’re still relevant and providing what people want and need.”
